Atorrante takes on “El Borda sin Gas”

20 years ago I met Leandro Petrozzino at the Sagrada Familia elementary school in Villa Urquiza, a neighborhood in Buenos Aires, Argentina.
Little did we know then, during little snot sandbox fights in which we stood on opposing sides, that we would eventually work in the same field and share an incredible bond that has transpired to a collaboration that we are currently cooking up.
It is my pleasure to introduce and promote this amazing short documentary directed by Leandro about the struggle of “The Borda” insane asylum in Buenos Aires which has been neglected by the corrupt government, leaving the patients without heat and hot water.
Leandro made this piece with 2 cents and lots of sweat, blood, and tears; a great example that budget does not determine “green light”.

El Borda Sin Gas” (The Borda without Heat) already made an uproar in Argentina, exposing the people responsible for this atrocity.

Atorrante Films has taken on the task of distributing the documentary in film festivals across the US and raising awareness about this issue throughout the rest of the world.
We will have more information coming up in the next couple of months. For recent news please visit their official site
